Mental Health Assessment is a therapeutic evaluation provided by a clinical professional prior to the initiation of any mental health services except in the condition of the need to deliver a crises or emergency intervention, in response to treatment, or when significant changes occur. It is a process of gathering information to assess client needs and function in order to determine appropriate series/ intervention based on identification of the presenting problem, evaluation of mental status, and formulation of diagnostic impression.
LABH provides community based services to consumers identified as having mental health disorder. Proposed BH counseling and therapy services include group and/or individual counseling based on needs determined from our completed mental health assessment.
Our day treatment program serves school aged children between Kindergarten through 12 grade with mental, social, behavioral, and emotional challenges. We provide daily tools and curriculum for them to gain the understanding that is needed to be productive in their everyday lives.
